Mechatronics Laboratory

福井大学メカトロニクス研究室

Prospective students

Excellent international and domestic students are always welcome to our laboratory. Particularly, we are looking for students who have academic background in mechanical, electronic, electrical, control, or optical engineering. All the projects in the laboratory involve hardware development to some extent. Therefore, hands-on skills (or strong interest in learning them at least) are indispensable in addition to basic theoretical knowledge.

The language of research activities in the laboratory can be completely in English, if desired. Furthermore, University of Fukui offers graduate programs in English. Some of them are Global Engineering Program for International Student (GEPIS) and Global Engineering Program for Research and Development (GEP for R&D), which are for Master and PhD, respectively. For more information about the programs and scholarships, please see the university page for international students.
