What's Nagai Lab？

　In Our laboratory, we are studying the various "heat transfer phenomena" like a Geothermal and solar heat or Bubble-Actuated Circulating Heat pipe known as "BACH".

Research contents and goals

　The main goal of our research group is to realize a heat system that applies heat transfer phenomena such as　heat conduction, convection heat transfer, thermal radiation, phase change (Mainly boiling).
　We conduct a research and development through experiments and analysis (partly numerical calculation).
　*The research theme will be decided in consultation with our professor.

　Many themes are related to joint research with off-campus institutions such as companies. Therefore, we are strongly aware of our connection with society as well as our research in University.

・ Our laboratory has about 12 students.

・ The main schedule is first interim report in the summer, second interim report at the end of the year, and a research presentation from February to March.
　＜check： events＞
・ The lecture of Professor Nagai's "Heat Transfer Engineering" will be the basis.（Thermodynamics, too.）
　 If you want to enter our lab, you should take this lecture. 　
　You have not taken it, we strongly recommend that you take "Heat Transfer Engineering" in the 4th year.

・ We are waiting for you who have simple interests and doubts about research for experiments and calculations ！
Those who are enthusiastic about working voluntarily are welcomed.
